Val Otiono (Chief Marketing Officer)

Val Otiono holds a B.Sc (Hons) in Geography and Regional Planning from Bendel State University Ekpoma, an MBA (Marketing) from Enugu State University of Science and Technology and MSc in Environmental Management from the same institution.

Val started his career with Transworld Security System Ltd as a Sales Executive before moving to A. A. Oil Company Ltd as the Pioneer Marketing Manager. He thereafter worked with other companies, where he initiated, executed and implemented several sales and marketing strategies before joining Coscharis Technologies as Assistant General Manager (Marketing), winning MICROSOFT distributor of the year-2007 (West Africa) award, and LENOVO Distributor of the year(2008). He has attended numerous courses in sales and marketing from accredited training institutions.

He later moved on to Omatek Computers Plc as the General Manager Channels Sales (West Africa) from where he joined SPOG Petrochemicals Ltd. He has over eighteen years marketing experience. In 2008, he was nominated by The Nigerian Tribune Newspaper, endorsed by Oyo Sate Chapter of National Institute of Marketing, as one of the 50 top Marketing Icons in Nigeria.
