Doyin Femi-Johnson holds an MBA from the Lagos Business School. She is a Chartered Accountant, Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, and also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. She has over 18 years experience in various sectors including, Banking, Law, Telecommunications and Oil and Gas.

She started her career in 1994 at Guaranty Trust Bank Plc, after which she worked briefly in Philips Consulting Limited. From there, she joined the Telnet Group as the Finance Manager, setting up a credit control department to address debt recovery challenges the company was facing at the time.

She has also worked with multinationals including, Transocean Support Services (Sedco Forex), where she served as a Management and Rig Accountant, and iTouch Global Concepts Limited, an international Telecoms content company, as the Financial Controller. From there she joined SPOG Petrochemicals Limited as the Chief Financial Officer in May 2008.

She has been able to apply the skills and experience gathered over the years in creating sustainable financial strategies for the organisations where she’s worked. She is noted for the design and implementation of standardised accounting processes, business case review and analysis, cost identification and management techniques to ensure adequate returns on investment to continually increase shareholder’s value.

Doyin has attended several foreign and local courses, including courses at the Cranfield University, UK, INSEAD University, and IESE Business School of the University of Navarra, Spain. She is happily married with children.
